Allahabad Bank, which started off its proceedings in 1865,
and one of the oldest public sector banks announced PO recruitment of 1600
posts of PO/Management trainees. The bank consists of around 2400 branches
across India with its center and headquarters at Kolkata. The bank has
mentioned that the IBPS passouts can only apply to the said online announcement
of PO recruitment. It has really come up with a big number this time for PO
recruitment. See the details below.
The Online registration for IBPS passouts starts 18th
February 2012.
And the registrations end on 10th of March 2012.
Eligibility Criteria:
For registration, the applicants should look out this
information:
- The age limit ranges from minimum 20 years while maximum is 30 years. Age and qualifications should be as on 1st July 2011, as was given in the IBPS recruitment time.
- Should be a pass in graduation (Note: Only bank till now with no percentage criteria- a big relief for lowscorers in graduation).
- A computer course certificate from a Government recognized training institute is mandatory, or it will be waved off if computer was the part of curriculum in graduation.
- The total weighted score in IBPS for general category is 125(Individual scores to be 24), and for others (ST/SC/OBC/OC) it is 112 (individual scores to be 21).
Interview/selection
process:
The selection process consists of a GD and personal
interview, which will be announced in one month time. The interview cutoff list
will be announced separately, and then the next step of recruitment will
advance through, same as other banks. The GD and interview will take place at
Bank selected cities across India, to be notified later on.
Application process:
The application process consists of downloading the challan
from the website. And the details submitted via challan should be filled online
in the banks PO recruitment page before 10th March 2012. All the
copies of application printout, IBPS scorecard, IBPS application printout and
fee receipt should be preserved as they will be needed at the time of
interview.
